I have tried it and rans smothly in live usb, however cannot "transparencies" get to work, neither make the "start menu" fonts bigger.
Anyway I am looking for opinions...

UPDATE : I mannaged to install the lxle linux 32 bits version, in my atom N550 machine , but it took a lot of time to get installed, after dowloading packages and things.... I am now booting the 64 bits version and I am in usblive mode now. According to intel web page this processor seems to support 64 bits, and I also run thisas mentioned in the link you gave me. And the results says "lm" , which acording to the link " If you see the lm flag (long mode), your CPU is 64bits (amd64)" . in that case will be good for this computer? I got confussed with the PAE issue (intel processors) atom is intell , so I am wondering... which version should I install , only have 1 GB ram.
- Code:
grep flags /proc/cpuinfo
Ps: Dowloading antix 17 just in case, but same doubt 32 or 64 bits?

LXLE includes a lot of apps that I like and that I used but the the lack of space between fonts and the fact that there is a lot to configure before a non linux user start using it makes me wonder... (fonts to small, 2 panels that shortened the already shorted screen, OS is not fully translated in spanish).
