UPDATE 15.04.2018 - renaming of unofficial manual - it will eventually be updated and be renamed as "Unofficial Manual for Zorin 12.x Core - to cover updates - the only fundamental differences between 12.2 and other releases will be security patches and updates to the ZorinOS base. ;) :D

[UPDATED 26.02.2018]

Hi Fellow Zorin Users! I have completed the Manual! (unofficial/ly!)

Hi Fellow Zorin Users! I have commenced an unofficial manual which is a work in progress. The pdf is quite large with such a small amount of content in it. I have used .7z compression file format as it offered the best reduction in size, even though marginal.

The new link:

https://app.box.com/s/1ipuar4bcpbi3um057dqsa5kuvyjdh8p and in pdf format so no need to unzip!

Feedback welcome. :D

Thank you kind sir.

Have Zorin 12 on a newly purchased used laptop and blew windows 10 off of it.

WOOT.

Now to learn how .......

Hi funklebits, Still thinking if I need to add some more elements such as OCRFeeder and gimageReader (Optical Character Recognition apps) and how to create shortcuts. ;) :D

This is awesome... After I fix the glitch on my machine to let me install Zorin in a dual boot along side Mint XFCE 19, I will be using this guide to help familiarize myself with Zorin again and give it another go. And will hope for better results. I'm looking forward to it. Swarfendor, great job.

Glad you like it! I still have to add some bits to it but due to a recent family illness it has delayed that plus the Zorin Lite Manual too. :( ;)

Great work it went just like your posting said. I used it on a Core2Duo(Gateway) with 4 Gig ram and 400gs regular hard Drive. Am using the win 7 desktop. Did have to put in the drivers for Nvidia graphics card. Love the Synaptic package manager!

Glad you are enjoying the manual. Surprised you had to have nvidia drivers - means your machine will be less secure. I have found that in Zorin 15 if nVidia drivers are present the plymouth theme fails to launch and I get ldm boot screen. I prefer to be more secure with nouveau drivers. ;) :D
