Fellow Zoriners,

No doubt, you like me, are anxiously waiting for the next major Zorin release. You will be aware that initially the intended release date of a Beta was intended to be 'late Fall/Autumn' of 2018 and would be based on Ubuntu 18.04. Whilst there has been no change with regards to which release of Ubuntu it is to be based upon, it has been causing issues for the Zorin Team in ironing out bugs. As I have responded elsewhere on here, Team Zorin are not a big player when it comes to other GNU/Linux 'houses' and they have always been keen to ensure that when a major release is made, the best possible experience is more often than not guaranteed (E&OE when it comes to some specific hardware - like I have said elsewhere, IT consumer products were never garnered or engineered to run any version of GNU/Linux but that other Operating System that begins with a W). Team Zorin, as well as myself, would ask you to bear with the Team while they iron out any bugs before a stable Beta is released. I don't want to put an estimated timescale as 'bugs' can crop up in the least expected place and time. Please rest assured that Team Zorin are working their socks off in order to get a working Beta out to you in the not too distant future. And remember ...

"All good things come to those that wait!"
