Is it possible to "transform" Zorin Ultimate into Lite?

Hello everyone. I have a copy of Zorin Ultimate that I purchased, and have it installed in and old notebook, with a weak CPU. Can I install the desktop environment from Lite in my machine so to have a better performance? Thank you.

Hi, I don't think you can do that as it is a separate product. If not already installed, install Synaptic Package Manager then search for Zorin LIte within that. If it does not show your only alternative is to search for xfce - install that, then choose xfce desktop environment. However I would strongly advise that you use a package such as redobackup to backup your entire system or if you are like me, just back up your entire /home folder but be sure that all hidden ('dot' folders) are shown before doing so. ;) :D
