Where is the .iso File

Postby pipercub45 » Thu Jun 06, 2019 4:23 pm

In trying to download the .iso file to a flash drive I get to the point where it says "select" and click on it. it takes me to a screen but I don't see an .iso file. What am I doing wrong or where is it? Thanks

Can you be more specific please? I downloaded the Core version without any issue last night from the link on the main page of https://zorinos.com/download/

Thanks for the reply!
This is what I did. Went to Zorin 15 os download. downloaded Zorin-os-15-core-64-bit.iso. Said I needed balen Etcher-setup-1.5.45.exe. Downloaded and ran the file. Installed it. Clicked on select image. Got a screen with choices of locals, resources, natives_blob.bin and V8_context.snapshot.bin. A box asking for a file name which was blank, one beside it that said OS images, open and cancel. I didn't see any .iso choices listed so I don't know what to do next.

Do I need an OS for installation? Right now the HD is wiped clean.

Yes you need an installation for that to work! Do you have access to DVD drive?

So if I load 18.04 on my computer I can install Zorin?

Hi, You need to have some way of burning the .iso to DVD as the best method. If you have Ubuntu installed you could install MultiSystem to create USB installation media for Zorin 15.
Download the old tar.gz from here:

It helps when one READS, I'm yelling at myself now, the instructions properly and do what is says. Zorin is now installed and installation instructions worked great! Thanks for all the help. Now to go exploring!
