I am getting an error "GStreamer encountered a general supporting library error" when I try to play flash video on ZORIN

Open firefox and go to add-ons, type "flash aid" and install it then restart FF, it should eventually pop up and say that new versions of flash are available, install then restart again. Click on the right flash button by the homepage symbol top right to install updates!!.
You should be good to go after that!!.

What is the application needed when installing and opening adobe flash player? I have download the adobe flash player onto my computer and when I double click to open the file, it asks me what application I want to choose to open/install the adobe flash player and I haven't a clue which program to use to open it. Could someone please help me? I am not using a windows based computer, it is Debian and I'm using Iceweasel browser. Thanks!
