Indicator applet complete

Postby madvinegar » Thu Oct 27, 2011 5:59 am

Is anyone else experiencing problems with the indicator applet complete?

I have the win7 look and most of the times when I login or reboot, some or all of the icons on the right (wifi, sound, keyboard, clock etc) are missing.

If I write a killall gnome-panel or just re login everything is back in place.

Is there ANY solution to this problem?

For your info my system just upgraded to 2.6.38-12 and I still get the same problems...

Hi. Thanx for your reply. Could you please explain how I can download the new kernels (which kernels are these?) through PPA? and then install same via control center?

Do you mean the synaptic package manager? Excuse my ignorance...
