Need help! When I log onto computer, my internet speed is what it is supposed to be, but after about 5 minutes on the internet, my speed drops considerably. Is there a setting that I need to adjust, or what is going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it does the same under Windows then the problem most likely lies with your ISP company!!.
Are you using Wifi??, Network Cable??, Sharing a Router with other devices??.

It does not happen when I use windows, and yes i am using wi-fi. It doesnt happen on my other computers either. I am using a cisco linsys router, and when i was just using the gateway from AT&T U-Verse, it was doing the same thing.

Hi,
have you right clicked on the network icon at the bottom and gone into "Preferences", you can look at the settings there, make sure that it says "Connect Automatically" and "For All Users".
