Hello Again!. I have this brand new USB Adaptor Wi - Fi , Tp-link Tl-WN722N, V3 (so its chip set is Realtek, I think), Working Fine with Kernel 4.13, but when I return my Desktop computer from suspension mode, It losts internet connection, and the only thing I can do is reboot the system, since nothing works from the panel net connection icon.

It appears this card has issues in Windows too!

Have you tried a different USB port? For the pain it is giving I would ask for my money back and contact these guys:

I am sorry I forgot to answer this back . Suddenly after some update I think this problem was fixed...I didn't change the port... The only thing that happens after suspend mode is the net icon , gets the cable net icon instead of wifi one , but the browsing is ok, and the connexion isn't lost... do you know if the updates brings anything new? I haven't changed the Kernel.

Sorry I can't answer that as still not tried Lite - I only have an old Notebook that does not support PAE and Lite versions of Zorin run like a 3-legged dog! ;) :D

After some tests, but I said before isn't tottaly right, because sometimes the navagation isn't ok. Sometimes after suspend mode (no mather if I mark the opción "save session for future starts or not) I lost wi-fi conection. However I have great news to share in case someone else needs it the developer has upload a driver for linux which date is march 6th 2018, here https://www.tp-link.com/ar/download/TL-WN722N.html#Driver :D :D :D

Altough they say in their manual "The driver is recommended to be installed on Linux OS which applies the kernel version that we have listed on TP-LINK official website" (2.6 -3.16) :| I am under Kernel~4.13.0-38-generic x86_64 and don't know if I have to change....I don't think so, and I don't like the idea. (...) "Given the specificity of the Linux system, we are very sorry that we cannot provide more guidance on the installation". :? https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-1076.html; anyway here where they explain how to compile it says diferent about the kernel version https://static.tp-link.com/Installation ... er_RTL.pdf

I haven't try it yet but couldn't keep the secret

Hi pcfan5

why not upgrading your kernel version and see how your laptop suspension issue behaves
information:
Code:

Make a backup first.
I am using always the latest kernel version in Zorin. At present v4.16.2
