Hi there. I am traying to install Zoring Core 12.3 in virtual box, it is impossible. After the first screen

I got a Guru meditation error (it is impossible for me to take a screen capture since the system gets stuck - frozen after this). No way to solve it, only rebooting from hardware button

I have VirtualBox Versión 5.1.24 r117012 (Qt5.5.1)
Have change every configuration that could possible be changed, such as assigning more memory) The dinamic Hard disk file is set in 12 GB but I also set it in 20 GB. I leave you here some pics of what I have been doing.

I was able to run Zorin Core 12.3 In " Boxes " but also have problems when trying to install. It cannot locate someting in somewhere.... will be back to clarify this. I need Zorin Core in Virtual Machine so I can take some pics for the spanish manual.

I suspect that 12.3 is more memory intensive than 12.2 and halving your onboard RAM is not going to help your main system run which could well be the issue - I would try 12.1 or 12.2 from SourceForge:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/zorin-os/files/12/ ;) :D

Thank you! I was suspecting the same. I was able after a lot of struggling to install 12.3 in "Boxes", it is an easy virtual machine, however cannot configure it to use the USB ports.... must check in "users and groups" just to see if it is the same case that VirtualBox. ("vboxgroups" has to be checked for it to work).

To access usb you need to install the extensions pack for that particular release of vbox in use. ;)

I personally have not come across Boxes - if it is in the Software channel are there any user reviews on it? ;) :D

thank you for the tip! :) Can you guide me to the software channel please? (I don't find it in the board index)

What I meant was 'Software' on the menu - other distros tend to refer to it as the Software 'Channel'. ;) :D

still not able to instal Zorin Core 12.3 in Virtual Box 5.1.24 r117012 (Qt5.5.1).... will give another chance at Boxes, however I don't want to mess much with my system, since I have a fresh instalation and everything is running sooooo wellll :D

My only other suggestion for you is to boot Zorin 12.3 Core in Live mode, use screenshot from the live system and save images to different usb from the one booting off of? ;) :D
