Hi, I think it could be a VM error? ;) :D

Hi, I've not run Tails Linux for some time and last time I looked at a, Linux Format magazine TOR was beaten on security by something else which escapes me.

No, I have Zorin installed to the hard drive and I've been using 12 more or less continuously as the prime OS. Windows 10 is relegated to a drive sitting on top of my pc case which it has done for the past 3 months or so. I use Winodws 7 Pro for maintaining my website as Serif software can't be installed under Wine sadly.

Before going any further, did you:

1. Update the VM?
2. Change the update source from your Country's Locale to Main Server for software/software updates? ;)

Open Software & Updates, select first tab, then change from what is showing to 'Main Server'. ;)

It is in Settings in xfce but in Core it should be under 'System' - Software and Updates - Software is the Software 'channel' as I call it. ;)
