[RESOLVED] Printer Delay

Hi All:
I have a 64bit Zorin OS v12.3 installed on my Dell Optiplex 760 (yes, I know she's old) connected to a Brother MFC-7860DW Printer via a wifi network from my Liberty router. There is an approx. one minute delay from the time I press the 'Print" button on a PDF file to the time the paper spools to print the page. If I print a test page, there is an approx. 30 sec. delay, which still feels like an eternity. It is just a black and white document with 600dpi resolution. Should it really take this long?

A thank you to both, Zorinantwerp and Swarfendor437 for your responses. I tried re-installing, as Zorinantwerp suggested, and that seems to have resolved the issue. I have encountered other issues with the scanning side of things, and have temporarily resolved them by connecting the printer via the USB cable when needing to scan. Slight pain in the rear but the print side is resolved. One thing at a time! Again, thanks to all!!!
