Hi there,

i'm new to asking questions or help at a forum but i like to get some help for a recent finding.
Today i started updating and came across the folowing:
You must migrate to new repository on OBS, cuz won't be any updates on Bintray anymore.
More at: https://software.opensuse.org//download ... e=waterfox

Never migrated repository's manually so i don't know how to handle this properly so that i don't mess up my distro in any way.
My distro:
Description: Zorin OS 12.4
Release: 12
Codename: xenial

Waterfox version Unity Edition: 56.2.4 (64-bit)

Respectfully waiting for an answer, best regards,

John.

Hi follow this guide here (you can either use the terminal):

https://blog.zackad.com/en/2017/08/17/a ... e-way.html

replacing certbot with the PPA's detailed description - which the PPA should already have provided. ;) :D

Alternatively you can add a PPA in the Software Settings Manager.

for the uninitiated (like me)

Waterfox focuses on giving users choice while also helping make the world a better place. Watefox is partners with Ecosia, a search engine that plants trees with its generated revenues. The browser itself is focused on power users, which lets you make the important decisions. There is no plugin whitelist, you can run whichever extensions you like and absolutely no data or telemetry is sent back to Mozilla or the Waterfox project.
Waterfox is powered by Mozilla Firefox source code.
Note: Language packs are available as separate packages!

Waterfox doesn’t sell access to your personal information like other companies. In fact - we don't even collect any. From privacy tools to tracking protection, you’re in charge of who sees what.

interesting project - need to update my reading :)
