Programs disappear from Software selection

Having recently installed Zorin 12 to try it out, I have been perusing all the software available. One thing I needed was a FTP program because I run a small website
and have always used CuteFTP under Windows. I therefore downloaded Filezilla several days ago to try. Yesterday I opened it up to configure, but had problems with it; it now tells me that the version I have is out of date and has been superceded by a much more recent one. However, on returning to the Software "shop", and looking under "Internet", Filezilla is no longer there.
Is this because it is considered not so well suited to Zorin? Or can anyone recommend one of the others listed to try? I don't need anything complex, just something to transfer images and html files up/down to my hosted site.

Hi

I have downloaded FileZilla version 3.15.02 as a test
source: https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client

the file downloaded on your laptop is FileZilla_3.39.0_x86_64-linux-gnu.tar.bz2

now you need to decompress and a new map is created containing 3 items

now goto to software in your Zorin menu and search for FTP and you will see it

now push install and an icon will be created to open FileZilla

it should work for you :)
