Zorin OS install has used 500GB of my HDD !!!

Hi, so I'm new to zorin but have it up and running and so far like what i see. A few issues include not being able to access favourite windows apps and external drives not working, but other than that it has led me to Hiri for mail which I love and WPS for office, which almost seems better than Office. mmm.

So my issue is when checking the HDD I see Zoris has taken 500GB of my 750GB drive for the install somehow. As I only have a few files at the moment it is not a drama but 500 is just greedy and I'd quite like to use that for something else. screenshot attached.

Any ideas how I can get my space back?

Looks like something went wrong at installation time - I always choose something else:

500 GB is not in reach (even for me) :)
suggest format your HDD/SSD and reinstall OS
