Hello smart people,

Just ran an update per usual but now notice Chrome showing as "managed by your organization"

This is new/unexpected..see attached screen cap for the policies.

Thank you in advance for any replies.

Hi

For Chrome user policies that you set in the Google Admin console to work so you need to turn on management in the Admin console. You can then set Chrome policies for the users in your organization. For example, you might want to control the apps and extensions that users can download to Chrome Browser on their corporate computer.

which version of Zorin you refer to

This PC isn't a part of any org. It's my own stand alone box.

As I mentioned the change only appeared after running update to Zorin using Software updater.

Know it's pretty bad form to bump your own thread, but does anyone have an idea about this?

It was very concerning to have this show up all of the sudden after updating.

Thank you in advance for any replies.
