Zorin getting hanged abruptly...

I'm a new Linux user, and I installed Zorin 5.2 recently alongside Windows 7. But, Zorin gets hanged abruptly in the middle of any task, and I have to restart the PC all over again. There's no fixed time for which it runs smoothly at a time, and gets hanged any time.
My hardware config is i5-2400 Processor, Intel DH67BL Motherboard, 4 GB RAM, and an AMD Radeon HD 6450 1 GB Graphic card...
Please Help....

Hi,

start your PC in "Recovery Mode" and then go to and run "dpkg", this should sort out any problems with software that you have.

Thanks, but it's still not working.. :o
I ran the "dpkg" file, but it ended up with 0 upgrades, because it "failed to fetch" a number of documents it was trying to fetch.
What does this signify?

Hi,

it sounds like when you ran dpkg that you were trying to do it via WiFi, you need a cable connection because the WiFi drivers are not loaded at that time during recovery mode!!.

You can run the following command in a terminal once booted:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Its the same as running "dpkg".
