Hello,

I bought the following device from Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-USB ... B00M77HLII

People mention getting it to work on various distro's including Ubuntu(Debian) so I figured it would also work on Zorin. I'm having issues getting the thing to be recognized and was wondering if anyone can help me out?

Upon plugging the thing it I get a white error bubble message along the top edge saying...
"Connection Failed"
"Activation of network connection failed"

Upon entering in $ ip addr
I see it shows up as...

2: wlo1: <NO-CARRIER, BROADCAST, MULTICAST, UP, LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP group default qlen 1000

Thanks in advance,

The page you gave the link to clearly states it is compatible with that other OS - no mention of GNU/Linux. You really need one of the ones from think penguin at $46.
