Hi.
After upgrade to kernel 5.0.0-32-generic after system update, the NETGEAR HDX101 Power-line Ethernet adaptor does not work.
I tried to fix it based on a similar case with Centos & and Ubuntu 19.10 with the below command line.
rmmod r8169 and then
modprobe r8169

but It isn't that effective as is with centos 7 and ubuntu 19.10 run on Kernel 5.
Do you think there is something I can do about it?

I would revert back to the previous kernel. If you hold the left shift key during boot to get to GRUB, try and choose advanced mode then choose earlier kernel from the ones available. If it is 'back to normal' remove the newest kernel by using Synaptic Package Manager and search for the Kernel version that is causing the issue and remove it. As a precaution, backup any critical data you can't live without. As we all know computers sometimes have a mind of their own. ;) :D
