Can anyone help with these two problems

Ive attached a screenshot of my desktop, i think i may have accidently removed an extension from my os because bottom left a second applications menu button has appeared and i dont know how to remove it. Also when i rebooted i seem to be connected to an ip address as shown on the desktop, don't know why any help would be appreciated.

That looks like a remote file share folder.
Is GnomeSharing turned on?

Hi, that Applications button is the traditional 'Gnome' menu that would appear on top panel. You mention Extensions - you may have accidentally turned it on - just turn it off in Extensions under 'Tweaks'.
