I would appreciate it very much if I could be directed to where I could access the disable "Numlock" on shutdown .When I log off ,and the tower switches off ,the "numlock " light remains on.
Thanking you ,

Hi,

if you are only "Logging off", the PC is still running and will not switch off the number lock until you shut down fully!!. (Or are you suspending or hibernating??)

Regards Wolfman :D

Is it only the num lock or the caps lock as well? I mean, is it that your whole keyboard remains powered...?

Probably is a setting in your bios. Go to power management features and look for the keyboard. Disable if it says something like to remain powered so as the system could be woken up.

Also, is your keyboard connected in a PS2 slot? Your motherboard probably still sends power to the keyboard.
If yes, buy a USB-adapter (you don't need to buy a new usb keyboard), and connect your keyboard in a USB slot. It will not happen again...
