[SOLVED] Transferring Evolution mail to new computer

Is there any simple way to transfer all of the old mail saved in Evolution's inbox to a new computer with a fresh install of Zorin? I've built a new box and have copied all my pictures, videos, docs and music from my old PC to a file server on my network. Then, when the new computer is up and running, I'll transfer all the files back from the server. How can I do something similar to this with my e mail?

I have not tried it but found the following link. Does it help?

http://www.stchman.com/export_evolution.html

Basically it says to do the following:

- Open the folder you want to save in Evolution (i.e. inbox).
- Select Edit | Select All from the menu.
- Now select File | Save As... from the menu.
- Choose the location and file name where you want to save your emails.

You can give the file a .mbx extension so it's clear that it is a mbox file.
Click OK.
