Will not boot without disk, redirects to Live

Hey. I'll start off saying I am new to this. I downloaded the ISO and burned it to disk. The installation went just fine and I was updating. When I restarted the system, I get this message on the monitor: "Input signal out of range. Adjust to 1280 X 1024-60Hz"....and then nothing. When I boot with the disk, it just prompts me to either install, or run in Live. I'm sure the fix is simple, and I feel like kind of an idiot for asking. I'm just not seeing it I guess.

Hi,

you need to reset your monitor, do that first then re-boot, it should clear the problem!!.

Thanks for the replies. Like I said, it was an issue of sleep deprivation and generally overthinking the problem. I have since fixed it and everything is working great. Thanks again.
