Hi,
I am unable to get Virtualbox 6.0 to recognize USB ports. What I have been able to find on the web tells me that I must add myself as a vboxuser. I can't seem to make that work. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I have been having similar issues - have you installed the extension pack? I think there is a way you have to mount stuff, including the optical drive if you want to access a particular cd/DVD via VB. I will launch one of my VB's and see if it has picked up my MultiSystem USB for multi iso usage. ;) :D

I think this is something I am going to have to study too! ;) :D

I found the answer. I installed gnome system tools, found the vboxusers under Systems and Groups. I added myself, rebooted the computer and then VirtualBox saw all the usb devices.
