Hi.

When using the network tool integrated with zorin, i have big problems connecting to wireless networks that have security.
It just connects for a mili second then it says network disconnected. wireless networks without security passwords i can connect just fine.

What maybe be the problem?

Haha, funny. The problem is that it does not prompt for network password. Something i think is strange? :|

Also please post the results of the following commands just to see what your wireless card and driver is.
Code:
lspci -nn
lsusb
sudo lshw -c network
rfkill list all

Ok.

If we make the problem a little simpler. I try to connect to a network without any security. Then it connects and disconnects every 20-30 seconds. Really ennoying. The router is 1.m from me and i have ralink wireless adapter.

Ok, please follow carefully the below instructions. We will download latest Ralink driver and set it to accept networks with security.
Go here: http://www.ralinktech.com/en/04_support ... php?sn=501 and download the latest Ralink driver for your wireless card i.e. the RT3592.
You click on where it says "RT3062PCI/mPCI/CB/PCIe(RT3060/RT3062/RT3562/RT3592". A new page will open, give your name and e-mail and the driver will start downloading. The file should be called DPO_RT3562_3592_3062_LinuxSTA_V2.4.1.1_20101217.tgz
It should be downloaded in your Downloads folder.
Open terminal and copy/paste the following commands one by one (hitting <enter> after each command). Just replace in the 2nd command where I say "yourusername" with your actual username.
Code:
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r) build-essential dkms
cd home/yourusername/Downloads
tar -xzf DPO_RT3562_3592_3062_LinuxSTA_V2.4.1.1_20101217.tgz
cd DPO_RT3562_3592_3062_LinuxSTA_V2.4.1.1_20101217
WPA1=HAS_WPA_SUPPLICANT
WPA2=HAS_NATIVE_WPA_SUPPLICANT
sed -i -e "s/$WPA1=n/$WPA1=y/g" -e "s/$WPA2=n/$WPA2=y/g" os/linux/config.mk
sudo make && sudo make install && sudo make clean
cd ..

Now we will black list the old driver, and use the new one. Open terminal and write.
Code:
echo "blacklist rt2800pci" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-rt2800pci.conf
sudo modprobe -rfv rt2800pci
sudo modprobe -v rt3562sta

Let me know if it worked. In case you have problem with any of he commands, stop, and post here the error message.
