[SOLVED] Media access

Hi!

I have a partition on my hard drive that I use to make backup of files, I have to loggin as root evverytime I want to copy a file on that partition. What can I do to make that media accesible?

I solved by installing Storage Device Manager, software available in synaptic.

Open > Configuration Editor > Apps > Nautilus > Preferences and check to see if Automount is checked.

It should mount all media types automatically!!.

If one of your drives doesn't mount, open home folder and click on the drive you want mounted, it will automount, right click and select unmount to get out of the drive!!.
