GRUB Hell

I installed Zorin for dual boot with Windows. Following installation of Zorin, when I rebooted the computer, it halted with:

FILE NOT FOUND
GRUB RESCUE:

I don't know what to enter at the prompt. Of course "HELP" does nothing. The machine is now unusable. I can't start either Zorin or Windows.

hi,

i too have the same problem....

i installed the zorin os 5 64 bit in my ext HDD......

when i start my system it says grub not found. it doesnt accepts any command(only a blank screen with GRUB rescue command prompt)

i booted into the live dvd and then into the terminal tried to update the grub but again error.....

unable to use ZORIN OS 5

hi there,
i have the same problem and also if i try to boot from live cd i get the same error. doesn't let me reinstall it. what can i do? is the same with windows 7 cd.
