Hi, I have two question or concerns

I am a long time Windows user, who decided to give Linux/Zorin a go
(Because updating from XP to Win7 would mean more buying more powerful PC)

After installing Zorin, I expected the opening screen just to show two operating system options.
But instead I have a huge list

menuentry ‘Ubuntu, with Linux 2.6.35-28-generic’ -class ubuntu -class gnu-lunux -class gnu -class os {
menuentry ‘Ubuntu, with Linux 2.6.35-28-generic (recovery mode)’ -class ubuntu -class gnu-lunux -class gnu -class os {
menuentry ‘Ubuntu, with Linux 2.6.35-24-generic’ -class ubuntu -class gnu-lunux -class gnu -class os {
menuentry ‘Ubuntu, with Linux 2.6.35-24-generic (recovery mode)’ -class ubuntu -class gnu-lunux -class gnu -class os {
Memory test (memtest86+)
Memory test (memtest86+, serial console 115200)
Microsoft Windows XP Professional (on /dev/sda1)

And both the 1st and 3rd item simply open ZorinOS. Of course the last opens Windows XP
But the other 4 are over my head.
However I sure 3 and 4 are superseded by 1 and 2, so shouldn’t be there.

The second is not being able to get rid of the login prompt. I assume because it is “lite"
I had downloaded ZorinOS 4 Lite, with the hope of resurrecting and old 128MB P3

I couldn’t get it to work. But that was due to the condition of the hardware.
But I wanted to check the install DVD was ok, so I loaded it to a 1GB P4.
And because I found it work much faster than Windows, I decided to install it on the P4.

Is there a quick way to upgrade ZorinOS 4 Lite to the “normal” version, without burning a second DVD?

Thanks

Kevin
