[SOLVED] desktop icons

I just installed Zorin, and I like it except I can't figure how to not show the desktop icons (in gnome )

( menu )applications --> system preferences--> ubuntu tweak--> desktop....

Hi mike555,

press alt + F2 and type "gconf-editor, once the config editor has opened, go to apps > nautilus > desktop and take out the ones you don't want!!. The other way is to use "Ubuntu Tweak" with which; you can tweak your system!!.
