Re assigning a single key on keyboard

I would like to assign the "accent / tilde" to act as an enter key. I never use it and would like to be able to "enter" with the left hand since I do a lot of entry where this would be a time saver. I use a Kensington turbo mouse that is a foot away from the KB.

I did some research and can find re-assigning "F" keys...but nothing like this.

I can only assume that you can do this via the "Control Center" > Personal > Keyboard Shortcuts, failing that, try "Keyboard" in the "Hardware section and see what other options are open to you!!.
