Windows 7 in Virtual VM

Hi, I'm very new to Linux, have created a Windows 7 VM, Zorin 12.1 Ultimate. Cant see the USB drive when I plug it in. In the settings it has the controller enabled but greyed out and no filters. Any ideas ?

If you are using Virtual Box you need to install the extension pack - just go to the official Virtual Box Site - then you will need to activate the pass-through element to speak to the hardware on Ultimate.
