DO NOT USE the community install via snap - why? Because it only has Google as the only search engine - sure you can add others but you can't make them the default - but if you follow the scripts (copy and paste) from the web page you will be able to make DuckDuckGo the default search engine. Even so there is too much Google c**p settings in the backend so be sure to turn off auto login to Google, Facebook and Twitter. Also turn off storing of passwords and credentials and payment methods - I don't care how secure a browser is - the less personal information you store on your computer the more secure you will be! Be sure to explore any browser's back end - especially 'Advanced settings' - I am not allowing any Browser provider anonymous data/debugging rights! Brave works really well with:
