[STICKY] INFORMATION - "REDO" Restore Failed and Fixed

Hi,

Just wanted to share, may save somebody some time/worry.

I have been using "REDO" for full Disk Imaging. http://redobackup.org/

I had my first issue, when testing a "Full" Restore, Would not boot, just flashing cursor.
Did some Googling and found that "REDO" can mess up some config files, making it un-bootable.
Some more Googling led me to: "Boot-Repair-Disk" http://sourceforge.net/p/boot-repair-cd/home/Home/
Created a Boot USB stick, Clicked "Recommended repair", 15/20 secs later after various things flashing on screen, "Repair Complete"
Re-started, and Zorin started up O.K

Hi Swarfendor437,

Go ahead... Fine by me... I think it could be useful...
I think I'm just about progressing out of the "Nooby" stage :)
