Hi peeps,

This is what worked for me:

1. Synaptic Package Manager (Menu | System Tools | Administration)

2. In search box enter 'nvidia'.

3. Search for '310' drivers (long time to download - 67 Mb) plus the 'nvidia settings'

Then logout and restart your machine.

The only 'issue' is that I don't get the plymouth 'glowing Z' - but the NTFS bars at the bottom - but the quality is lovely!

I got a (Nvidia) Asus GeForce 6200SE to make computer windows 7 compliant, have not installed yet, wasn't going to till XP updates stopped (now may not even install windows 7). Zorin works great with built in graphics (Dell GX280) will I have problems installing driver for the 6200SE card with Zorin?

Hi Swarf,

I just checked my drivers and they are also 331 and I also used the same PPA for the 319 drivers!.

Thanks for the blue jewels, can I buy anything with them?.

See Auldyin, he might give you a crate of Guinness! Only thing is though, since I followed the removal of shading to None I can't get my cube back! Who knows, I might revert to 310!

Hi Swarf,

if you used Compiz at all, try resetting it completely!.

Also important is to run an update after a restart and restart again if necessary as there might be new mesa/xorg files to update after installing the Nvidia drivers!.
