Yer, they said back in about December or on the web site "in the next few weeks". Same with Core and Ultimate, we waited and waited and..., major lack of info to users IMHO.

Also - still - waiting for Zorin 12 Lite ... and confused about recent changes :| .

Looks like nowadays there's not even a chance to add comments on Zorin blog news , not to mention the overall silence & lack of communication with the users-base overall . Not speaking just for my personal case... is the overall feeling most users are getting.

All this on top of a poor ( "zero" to be precise ) presence on popular social networks like reddit ( where Zorin has its own ) is a really poor way to promote a distro like this nowadays ... and it's a real pity... because despite the fact i didn't like Zorin OS 12 and won't use it ... to my surprise, i read/see many people really interested on jumping in... so the timing for this strange "seclusion" couldn't be worse IMHO .

I really wish the best to Zorin OS and their development team... but let's agree that communication is key on this world, and something isn't working here.

Granted, i don't really know what's going on backstage... maybe they are about to close doors and shut everything down... no idea ... really hope not.

Cheers!

No, 21.3.2017 is not even two months! ;) :D

All I can tell you is that progress is being made and bearing in mind they are transitioning to a totally new DE, xfce, when all previous releases were based on Lubuntu (LXDE) - totally different DE's and XFCE is a whole lot better environment:

Why Zorin 12 lite never release?

Please bear in mind that Zorin Lite will in future be based on xubuntu instead of lubuntu (basically xfce as opposed to lxde). All previous versions of Zorin Lite were based on Lubuntu, so a departure will mean looking at how xfce can be customised to match Zorin theming which may have proven more tricky than lxde. I can let you know that the public beta is hopefully going to be released at some point this week. :D

Zorin OS 12 Lite Beta is out in both 64 and 32 bit http://zoringroup.com/blog/2017/06/12/z ... -for-lite/

I installed in a Virtual Machine and was surprised how fast it ran and as usual looks 'Zorin' good!

I made a short 5 and a half minute video if you want to see how it looks, nothing in-depth just a bit of a look at a few apps etc
