Update - you may need to install this package from synaptic package manager:

bluez-btsco - package specifically aimed for bluetooth headphone usage.

Also check that Gnome blue-tools is installed.

You may also want to install the following packages:
bluez-tests
bluez-tools
btscanner
connman

Alternave solution:

Keep us posted. ;) :D

Update: see if the script stated at bottom of page works, but be aware that the script was for an earlier kernel:

Hello! I'm using Zorin OS 15.2 Ultimate and run into the problem, mentioned above.

Scenario is:
1) I pair my bluetooth headset
2) When it is paired it suddently disconnects
3) I cannot turn on the switch on buletooth dialog
4) In /var/log/syslog I found the following message (replaced sensitive data with XX):
May 11 02:50:55 XXXXXXX bluetoothd[991]: message repeated 8 times: [ a2dp-sink profile connect failed for XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX: Protocol not available]

After following instruction, headset started to work and I could test it and adjust the volume.

Thank you, Swarfendor437!
