monitor brightness

Hello

I use Zorin OS on my old Acer without problems for years. Now I installed Zorin OS besides WIN 7 on my laptop HP G62 with Intel Pentium. When I start laptop I must always manual sett the screen brightness. Without this operation is screen too dark. Any ideas?

Hi,

open System Setting > Personal > Brightness & Lock and there is a slider control for the brightness!.

Hello

I know... But as I wrote I must do that ewery time when I start laptop. I dont know how to save this setting... After boot screen is always dark..

Hi,

it should save automatically!.

What graphics card do you have and have you installed any drivers for it?, paste this command in a terminal so we can find out what graphics card you have!:

You must look at this section of the list:

02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF108 [GeForce GT 430]"

(The above is from my PC as an example!)

Have you fully updated?:
